The vibrant Utrecht Student Choir and Orchestra will perform the St. John’s Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach in Ljubljana, Trieste, Pula and Vienna during our 2020 European Tour. The youthful sound of the choir combined with the orchestra creates a very personal tone. You can feel our sense of excitement when listening to our music!

The St. John’s Passion tells the story of Good Friday. Bach was a master at translating into music the various emotions of guilt for St. Peter’s betrayal of Jesus, sadness at Jesus’ capture, and joy for the promise of eternal life. All human emotions are featured in Bach’s heavenly music.

Be sure to visit our concert, we won’t be back for at least a decade!
